How do I apply for the NDIS?

The first step in applying for the NDIS is to check if you are eligible. The eligibility checklist on the NDIS website will help you check the initial eligibility requirements such as age, residency requirements, the impact of your disability, the supports you require, and if there are any early intervention requirements.

Once you have confirmed your eligibility you will need to either make a verbal application by calling 1800 900 110, or apply in writing by submitting an Access Request Form. After making your application you will have 28 days to collect and provide evidence of your eligibility for the NDIS.
