At BlueSky Mind Studio we employ therapists with a diverse range of skills and interests, who are trained and skilled in the most up to date methods and techniques.
Rebecca MRebecca has over two years’ experience working in disability employment services. Through this work, she has developed a strong understanding of the importance of vocational skills and experience, both as a source of self-fulfilment and as a way to address mental health barriers, particularly anxiety and depressive disorders.
Her main interests include supporting individuals experiencing anxiety and mood disorders, sleep disturbances, and paraphilias. She also has experience assisting in the development of research programs for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders, individuals affected by sleep-phase disorders and parasomnias, and people experiencing homelessness and related trauma.
Rebecca’s primary goal is to support clients to build the skills they need to manage challenges in daily life. She takes a strengths-based approach and encourages self-efficacy, helping clients develop the confidence to take action and make positive changes to their thoughts and behaviours. She strongly believes that people can be part of their own solution and that there is always hope for improvement.
I find it very rewarding to be able to accompany my clients on their journey to self-improvement and achieve both personal and vocational goals. I believe we offer an invaluable service and I look forward to seeing it grow and continue to support those in need. I also love working in a team of supportive and passionate individuals who come from a range of different backgrounds and disciplines.
