Andrea KAndrea is a compassionate and client-centred counsellor who works collaboratively with individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, confidence and motivation challenges. She is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients feel heard, understood and empowered to explore their experiences at their own pace.
Andrea’s practice is grounded in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), compassion-focused and strengths-based approaches, with a strong emphasis on helping clients recognise their inner strengths, resilience and potential for growth. She believes therapy is most effective when it is person-centred, collaborative and tailored to each client’s unique needs, values, and preferences.
With a trauma-informed lens, Andrea is mindful of how past experiences can shape present challenges and works gently and respectfully to support clients in building emotional safety and meaningful change. She is particularly passionate about supporting clients to move away from self-criticism and towards greater self-understanding, confidence and psychological wellbeing.
Andrea also brings valuable experience from working within employment and recruitment consulting, allowing her to support clients with work-related challenges within a broader life context.
